Pros and cons of WordBook Dictionary app for iPhone and iPad

WordBook Dictionary app good for

Excellent- and I am an English teacher... and have tried lots of dictionaries
One of the best dictionary apps out there, and definitely the best offline one. A must have for all English language lovers.
Very good hand dictionary.I use breu often and most of My needs are very well served.
This is the best English dictionary there can possibly be on the iPhone. Extremely creative at the same time simple to use. The words load fast and the definitions are perfect to understand new words. I love the favorite function. Wished for pronunciations, even that is here ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!
Very useful already. However interaction could be more efficient when I did not have to remove the last word I typed from the search field everytime. Also I would love to buy an English-German dictionary extension if availlable...
Super pocket reference book. As German I like especially the small add-on "words of the day" which allows me to continously learn more. Super, and not too expensive. I rate it 5 stars.

Some bad moments

A very good application although its developers should review their standards when defining terms in certain sensitive issues.
I can just recommend you not to spend money for this bad app. It is useless.
I looked up the definition for the word "asleep". One sample sentence under the adjective usage used the word as an adverb.
I used to like it and bought it, now it doesn’t let me update it I have iPhone 5s and iOS 8.3: what is wrong with it? I’ll give all stars when this problem will be fixed
not at functionality of the app, but your decision of not supporting iPad and making us existing users to pay extra for an iPad version. You support iPhone4, then you should at least make the app run in hi-res on iPad.
Great for students developing an entry level vocabulary. Beyond that, there are a ton of words missing, which leaves this app severely lacking.
